Shortly After Kenya, Uganda Furnishes Police With Cutting Edge Combat Vehicles (Photos)

Political tension is high in Uganda, as the 37 million population prepare for the national elections on February,18.
The election is tagged “A three-horse race” between Museveni and his seasoned opponent Kizza Besigye and his former ally Amama Mbabazi.
Ahead of the elections, Uganda police have been furnished with more than 35 anti-riot vehicles which have been spotted at the port of Mombasa.
This comes just days after President Uhuru Kenyatta commissioned a fleet of armoured personnel carriers (APCs) to the Kenya police service to improve police mobility to trouble spots.
