Citizen Nipashe’s Kanze Dena is without a shadow of doubt, one of Kenya’s most sultry presenters. Her exceptional on-screen talent aside we must all agree she also doubles up as one of the most beautiful and brilliant successful news anchors.
Well while this might be what you and I think, Kanze Dena doesn’t share the same sentiments.
In a candid interview with Citizen Digital, the lass delved deeper into her personal issues, that include her struggle with self esteem from a tender age, to the loss of her three month old child, whom she conceived while in college.

“The death of my daughter took me through a period of depression! I wondered: ‘Will I be the girl who everybody knows gave birth; but her daughter died? She went through all that, now she has nothing to show for it?”
the anchor says in her interview.
Kanze Dena then also went ahead to reveal that her self-esteem issues have dragged on since high school till now;
“Even now, I don’t believe that I am beautiful. People send compliments, but the damage had been done – I had already told myself I am not beautiful. I don’t have the legs that other girls have; I don’t have the posture that all the other beautiful girl have… I am definitely not that ultimate beauty! However, I appreciate that people perceive me to be beautiful”
