The proud mama shared the first image of her son, York, on Valentine’s Day.
Banks, 42, and her Norwegian photographer boyfriend, Erik Asla, welcomed the boy, their first child together, on January 27.
Few weeks ago the new mum went to her social media pages and shared a warm heartfelt post with her fans, welcoming her baby boy into the world.
“The best present we worked and prayed so hard for is finally here. He’s got my fingers and big eyes and his daddy Erik’s mouth and chin. As we thank the angel of a woman that carried our miracle baby boy for us, we pray for everyone who struggles to reach these joyous milestones. York Banks Asla, welcome to the world,” posted Banks.
The couple had the baby a surrogate. Banks opened up in September on “FABLife,” a show she once co-hosted, about her fertility struggles revealing that she had undergone IVF procedures in hopes of conceiving.
“When I turned 40, the one thing I was not happy about is that I did not have kids,” she told People. “When you’re like, ‘Okay, I’m just going to do it,’ then it’s not so easy as you get older,” said Banks.
