Happy new parents: Ludacris and his wife Eudoxie, pictured in April, welcomed a baby girl on Thursday
Ludacris, 37, and his wife Eudoxie Mbouguiengue, 28, are proud new parents.
On
Thursday the couple announced the news of their new baby girl with a
photo shared to Instagram of a pink balloon with the words 'Baby girl'
and a picture of a heart and a baby carriage on it. The balloon was tied
around the neck of a small brown dog looking out a hospital window.
'She is here,' the West African beauty wrote in the caption with the hashtags 'blessed' and 'grateful.'
.The Good Lovin singer confirmed the news with a Throwback Thursday photo on his Instagram page.
'#tbt now @eudoxiee will be switching places. #blessings #love #life,' he wrote.
The rapper also has two children from previous relationships.
The Fast & The Furious star announced in March his wife was expecting a child. He posted a photo of himself kissing her bump.
They became engaged just after Christmas and married soon after.
'It was a beautiful wedding,' a source told E! News at the time.'The wedding was small and only close friends and family were in attendance.
'Ludacris was so thrilled to be getting married and filled with such love for his lady. He was a bit nervous when it was happening but in a very good kinda way,' it was added.
'They both want children so that's something that will likely happen in the next year,' the source added.
Eudoxie, who is founder of Unspoken Angels, a non-profit organization that supports and educates young women who have been the victims of mental, verbal and sexual abuse.
Ludacris will reprotedly next star with James Caan in Sweetwater about the first African American contracted to play in the NBA.
