An Egyptian court has sentenced former president Mohamed Morsi to death on charges of killing and kidnapping police officers and breaking out of prison in 2011.
Earlier on Tuesday, the same court sentenced Morsi to life in prison in a separate case related to spying for Palestinian group Hamas, Lebanese group Hezbollah, and Iran.
