Victoria's Secret has confirmed that Karlie Kloss will be leaving the brand when her contract runs out this year.

The lingerie giant's senior creative director Ed Razek also revealed that Doutzen Kroes had quietly left in December after six years as an Angel.
According to Mr Razek, both women have become too busy to fulfill their commitments to the brand.
On Miss Kloss, 22, who joined Victoria's Secret in 2011, he told his Instagram followers: 'Karlie and I met several months ago to discuss the many things she hoped to do in her life and career. As we talked, it became clear she would not have the time to fulfill her myriad commitments.
'Reluctantly, we agreed she would leave the brand at the end of her contract.
'Karlie is one of a kind, a very close friend, someone I truly admire and love. She is, without question, one of the best models ever. But she is an even better person. Her future is unlimited, and I am excited to see all the good she will do.
'Karlie Kloss will always be an Angel to me.'
Mr Razek spoke equally favorably about Dutch beauty Ms Kroes, now 30 and a mother-of-two.

'Doutzen had a lucrative opportunity in Europe and it would have conflicted with her VS obligations,' he said in an Instagram post.
'So, at her agencies [sic] request, we released her from contract. There was no conflict. No animosity. None of the nonsense I've read on Instagram. She had a great business opportunity, and I wanted to be fair to someone I adore and respect.'
He added: 'I honestly believe Doutzen is one of the most stunningly beautiful people in the world. And I always will.'
Rumors first emerged that Miss Kloss would be leaving Victoria's Secret on Friday.
'She's got a busy but exciting year ahead and the decision came down to timing,' a source told People.com. 'She'll be focusing on her modeling career, new business opportunities and NYU starting in the fall.'

Indeed, the model has been accepted into NYU's Gallatin School of Individualized Study.
Speaking in the new March issue of Vogue, she reveals that NYU alum Christy Turlington Burns wrote her letter of recommendation.
While she doesn't know yet what she will study, Miss Kloss said that college was 'something that I've wanted to do for a very long time.'
Not that her modeling career will be put on hold - 'I'll still be working full-time,' she said.

And when she's not strutting her stuff on the catwalk, posing for photos, baking or studying, Miss Kloss is filling her spare minutes with extra computer coding classes, a bizarre hobby which she believes could be her most beneficial talent in the future.
'Coding is fascinating,' she explained. 'Everything around us, the world we live in today, and the future is written in code.'
The model need not worry about looking for a new career in computers any time soon however; according to designer Jason Wu, who has enlisted Miss Kloss to walk in a number of his shows, her career is showing no signs of slowing down.
'You know, they don't make those supermodels every single day,' he said. 'Karlie is one of those rare cases where there is something so special, and so poised and elegant, yet all-American about her.'
