Tumble! A dramatic minibus crash occurs after a gang of boy racers cut up the bus and run it off the road
As a result of the crash, Steve will be forced to face up to his depression and arch enemies Carla Connor and Tracy Barlow will see their relationship change forever.
Show bosses say it will be 'touch and go' whether or not Sinead recovers from her injuries.
The accident was filmed over three weeks, with the cast suspended upside down in the bus during filming.
Dangerous driving: The car causes the bus swerve off the road where it tumbles over and lands at the edge of a cliff
Trapped inside: Not everyone is able to get out of the wreck before the bus topples over the cliff's edge
Casualties: While several lives will initially be left hanging in the balance, Sinead Tinker will be the most seriously injured of the group
Speaking about the storyline, the soap's producer Stuart Blackburn revealed:
'Everyone involved in filming these dramatic episodes is very proud of the end results. The stunt is breathtaking and is real edge of the seat stuff.
'But, in the spirit of great storytelling, the crash itself is just the start of the drama and will have far reaching effects for all the people involved in the coming months.'
